Here is a look at the rest of this week into the next:
We will finish up "Frog and Toad are Friends" tomorrow and move into "Wilson Sat Alone" for next week. The focus lesson for next week is centering on characters and their feelings. In Grammar we will continue to review types of sentences. Please look for a Language book that will be sent home for your children to use when practicing Language skills. Students can also use the Harcourt link at our website tp practice the skills. Thank you!
We are continuing to gain "fact power" in math. Please practice basic facts with your child everyday. Just 5 minutes each day will vastly improve their memory and give them the edge they need for sloving math problems. Our Unit 2 test will be next Friday Oct. 24.
In Social Studies we will begin our Elections Unit on Monday, with a look at our government and the importance of voting as a citizen of the U.S.A.! Our test on Chapter 1 will be tomorrow. We had a GREAT review today. Ask your child about the activity!
