Greetings Families,
We are fast approaching the last days of school! Here is a look at next week's schedule and our final tests. Next week we will be having the Unit 11 Math test on Tuesday, June 3 and the End of the Year Math Test on Thursday, June 5. No homework will be assigned, but please be sure to review the study guides with your child. THANKS!
We are also working on an End of the Year Language Arts assessment that will be finished next week as well.
We will NOT have a test on Spelling or Reading next week. We are simply enjoying reading our last selection "Ruth Law Thrills a Nation".
I thank everyone who chaperoned on our trip last week! What a great day!
Here are some important dates to keep in mind:
Tues. June 3rd - Unit 11 Math Test
Thurs. June 5th - End on Year Math Assessment

Update May 14th
Hello Families,
Greetings from Elmer 2nd grade! We are busy getting ready for our Young Author's Tea this Friday. We look forward to seeing you and sharing the awesome writing that has been created in our room. The time is 2:00pm! Come ready to celebrate our authors!
As we wind down our school year we will be reviewing much of the math skills gained as well as Language Arts skills. The students will be having year end tests in these areas during the last week of May. Please continue to practice those facts and read everyday. THANKS!!!
Next Friday, May 23rd is our field trip to Cape May Point State Park. Please plan on arriving at school at 8:15am dressed for the weather. Beach activities will go on as long as it isn't raining steadily.
We also have our all school Talent Show next Thursday. You won't want to miss this event...our school has some hidden talents that just may show up!!!!
As always, the time seems to be "flying by" and June will be here before we know it! I am so proud of all of the students! They are ready for third grade!
Enjoy the sunshine!
